This is going to be an abbreviated week-in-review. Our family has had a long holiday weekend with house guests and trips all over the place. Today we’re doing a lot of work cutting down and stacking trees for fire mitigation. The joys of mountain living. Too bad I already did my fasting cardio, because I’m going to be busting my booty today. I’ll keep this short and sweet.

This subject might predate our move to our new website, but I posted a little while ago on our Facebook page about our efforts to lift our entire family’s vibration. By that I mean all of our (my husband and kids included) physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It’s been an ongoing project, and we’ve seen ups and downs. But we never quit!

As a part of that process we’ve started to put together a new fun and fit program for the summer that involves a lot of travel, a lot of fun, and a lot of fitness for our entire family. We’re putting together the finishing touches on the roll-out and getting the content processed and our schedule in order. It’s something that we’re all looking really forward to, and we’re hoping it will help families like ours find fun ways to stay fit during the summer. Sorry for the vague, but it’s been a lot of work for us and I don’t want to let slip what it’s going to look like until it’s out. I’ll give you a hint – it includes getting a new van! Keep an eye on the site in the near future for more information, and a closer behind-the-scenes look at my personal life.

6-WEEK BODY RESET PROGRAM – Fatloss Manifesto
I wrapped up week three of the body reset program by FatlossManifesto. I’m not seeing any weight loss, but I do love how much stronger I feel. My resting heartrate has gone down as well, so I’m seeing gains. I enjoy the set schedule of the types of workouts I’m supposed to do, and when I’m supposed to do them. Even though I’m not losing weight currently (This has been an ongoing issue with me, and not necessarily a reflection of the program. My body is exceptional at not losing weight no matter what I do.) I do plan to continue using their scheduling when I move onto the next workout/fitness program to put through its paces. I also haven’t measured myself yet today, so even if I haven’t lost any weight I may have lost inches. We’ll see.

I’m working on finishing up Part 4 of the Rising series, Rebuilding Health and Fitness after Being Ill or Overweight. Unfortunately with the crazy holiday weekend it may very well be delayed by a day or two. My children are on their last few days of school this week as well, so it’s a clusterfart of chaos right now. I’ll get it to you as soon as possible. I’m excited about the tips and tricks in there, and really hope they help other people as much as they’ve helped me.

I hope you’re all shifting easily into the warmer weather and all of the fun that comes with it. Take care of yourselves, and as always, thank you for the time you spend here with me. Happy Memorial Day!
